PLEASE READ BEFORE USING MY SITE
This is the result of my work carried out over the past fifteen years.
A study of the Coxhead Family which I believe began in Berkshire England c1500.I have done my best to search and copy every available piece of data that I found in the I.G.I. the L.D.S. Family Search Program,
Parish Registers of St Lawrence Church of Hungerford also of the Parish of Aldbourne in Wiltshire.
Parish Registers of Newport and Calbourne of the Isle of Wight.
Also information from Ancestry.com - Genealogy.com and Rootsweb FreeBMDs -Births – Marriages & Deaths.I have corresponded with a large number of other persons who were also researching this family.
Every person I wrote to did reply and made very generous contribution to my records.A special mention has to be made of Heather Avia of N.Z. - Walter Barnard of Essex England
Roger Washbourn of N.Z. - Bev Hunter of NSW Australia
Don Drummond of Surrey England, Anne Sandford of N.Z.
Also the late William James Coxhead of Footscray Melbourne Australia.
Many others were a great help to me and to all of these kind persons I offer my most sincere thanks. You may use whatever is here that you find useful.
I also believe that if you can take information, you can also add something back in this Site.
Please contact me if you have any links to this family. If you forward any family data, I will endeavor to add your information here as soon as possible.
I like to say enjoy your research and best of luck along the way.William John P. Coxhead
