Clement Cox (close-up); b. 11 Dec 1847; d. 24 Dec 1924 Sophronia Terry Cox (close-up); b. 1853; d. 1904 (Clement Cox was the s/o Anna Stevens Frazer and Madison Cox. He was born 11 Dec 1847 in Barnwell, SC and died Biloxi, MS. He was at the Confederate Veterans Home at Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis' home) when a fire broke out on Christmas Eve. He did his best to help get the other old veterans out, but he suffered severe burns and later died from his injuries 24 Dec 1924) OLD
