Elizabeth (Cowsert) Lamar
She was the first wife of William T. Lamar (born about 1852). She is related to our Cowserts, but I don't know exactly how. In the 1910 census, 13-year-old Atwell Cowsert (Junior) is living with William T. Lamar and his 3rd wife Laura E. (Staley) and is listed as Lamar's "cousin."
Her stone is in the Soward Cemetery, Rosiclare, Hardin County, Illinois, as is the stone for her husband William T. Lamar, who is buried next to his third wife, Laura. Second wife, Maggie (February 14, 1852-1882) is also buried nearby.
