Pearl Ross
Pearl Ross, 82, of Wayne, W.Va. Route 2, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, by Elder Michael Dillon. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetary. She was born Oct. 17, 1906, in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Taylor and Rebecca Powers Ross. She was a member of Lick Creek United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Oma Sansom, Ruth Booth, Ruby Vaughn, Mary Ashworth, and Hazel Cline. Surviving are three sisters, Judy Ross and Elva Workman, both of Wayne Route 2, and Shirley Crockett of Westland, Mich.; one borther, Muss Ross of Huntington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Morris Funeral Home.
