Know all men by these presents that we Peter Corn and Rebecky, wife to said Peter Corn of the county of Gallia and state of Ohio, in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars in hand paid by Perry Corn of the same place have bargained and sold and do hereby grant and convey unto the said Perry Corn, his heirs and assigns forever, the following premises situate in the county of Gallia in the state of Ohio and bounded and described as follows to wit the south-west quarter of the southwest quarter of section thirty-two (32) township four (4) of range sixteen (16) containing forty acres more or less to have and to hold said premises with the apputenunces unto the said Perry Corn his heirs and assings forever and the said Peter Corn for himself and his heirs doth hereby covenant with the Perry Corn his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever and that the will forever warrant and defend the same with the apputenances unto the said Perry Corn, heirs and assings against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever in testimony whereof the said Peter Corn and Rebecky Corn have hereunto set these hands and seals this 28th day of February, A.D. 1878.

Before me Squire Massie, J.P. a Justice of the Peace in and for said county personally appeared the within named Peter Corn and Rebecky, his wife, and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and the said Rebecky Corn being of the same time examined by me seperate and apart from her husband and the contents of said instrument maid known to her by me. She then declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still Satisfied therewith this the 28th day of February, 1878. Squire Massie, Justice of the Peace
