Mr. Muss Ross, 83, of Huntington, W.Va., died Sunday, January 12, 1997
in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m.
Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ray Miller and Pastor
Crit Maynard officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetary, Wayne county, W.Va. a son of the
late Taylor and Rebecca Powers Ross. He was a retired employee of Owens
Glass Co., and a veteran of the Army Air Corps serving during World War
II. He was a member and deacon of the Huntington United Baptist Church.
He was preceaded in death by his wife, Cleo Evelyn Jack Ross and six sisters,
Pearl Ross, Hazel Cline, Oma Sansom, Ruby Vaughn, Ruth Booth and Mary Ashworth.
Survivors include one son, William Ross of Huntington; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Elva and William Jones of Dunbar, W.Va., Glenna and Jack Young
of Ashland Ky.; eight grandchildren, Sherry Slayers, Jerry Kitchen, Bill
Ross, Tom Ross, Brian Ross, all of Huntington, Rebecca Young, Amy Young
and Laura Young, all of Ashland Ky.; three great- grandchildren, Alyssa
Salyers, Thomas Allen Ross II, and Taylor Ross; three sisters, Elva Workman,
Shirley Crockett and Jarusha "Judy" Ross. Freinds may call from
6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
