Mathew Dewitt Corn b.Oct.2, 1832 in Henderson Co., N.C. d.June 20, 1896 in Laurel County, Ky.
Mathew married Catherine Fletcher on July 25, 1865 in Henderson Co., N.C.
Mathew was also married to Nancy Stepp.

Mathew's parents were Peter and Mary Ann Jones Corn. Peter was born Sept.18, 1792 in Albemarle Co., Va. He married Mary Ann abt. 1815 in Buncombe Co., N.C. Peter died Feb. 26, 1869 in Henderson Co., Va.

Peter Corn was the son of John Peter Corn and Hannah Elizabeth Parr.
