I found this obituary in the back of my great grandmother's "Rumford Cookbook"! Of all places!

Joseph P. Malloy - 41, 854 Matthews Ave. died early yesterday morning after a long illness. He was formerly employed as an instrument man with Carbide and Carbon Chemicals Corp. Mr. Malloy came to Charleston from Clarksburg several years ago. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Malloy; his father, john J. Malloy of Clarksburg; six brothers, Paul of Cleveland, Ohio; Frank of Cincinatti Ohio; Edward and James of Clarksburg; and John of Washington, D.C. The body is at the Simpson mortuary.
