Rev. James C. Workman

SYLVESTER -- The Rev. James C. Workman, 78, of Sylvester, Boone County, died May 1, 1998, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness.

He was a retired miner and member of the UMW. He attended Keith Full Gospel Church, and was retired pastor of Assembly of God Church, Sylvester, and Keith Community Church.

Surviving: daughters, Sandra Derrick of Clendenin, Linda Pettry of Naoma, Teresa Jones of Sylvester; sons, Dennis of Fairmont, Teddy of Sylvester; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Keith Full Gospel Church, Keith, with Pastor June Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the church. Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, is in charge of arrangements.
