Hester Rosetta Vealey Workman

passed away at her home at Pine Knob, Sunday evening, September 14, 1947 after a long illness.

She was born November 21, 1881, the daughter of the late Henry and Rhoda Dickens Vealey, of Pine Knob. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Chri C. Workman; two daughters, Mrs. Flossie Bailey of Pine Knob, and Mrs. Marie Clay of Dry Creek; two sons, Robert of Naoma and Tolbert of Pine Knob; one sister, Mrs. Martha Luca of Glenn Daniels; one brother, Daniel Vealey of Charmco, and 16 grandchildren.

One sister, Mrs. Salona Gunnoe; and fuve brothers, Isaac, Billy, Joe, John and Lige Vealey, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, September 16, 1947 at 2:30 p.m. in the Union Chapel Church, Pine Knob, W.Va. Clergyman officiating were the Rev. Mrs. Stollie Parsons and Rev. Willie Peters. Also with the Church Choir singing, No Tears in Heaven, Precious Memories and We Shall Meet One Day.

Interment was made in the Vealey Cemetary, Pine Knob, W.Va.
