Chloe Cook Workman

86, of Pine Knob, W.Va., died February 6, 1951, in a Charleston hospital following a short illness.

She was the widow of the late Rev. W.W. Workman. She was born at Oceana, Wyoming County, W.Va. May 6, 1864, the daughter of the late Greene and Rebecca Brooks Cook.

She had been a resident of Pine Knob, W.Va. for the past 50 years.

She is survived by 4 sons, Rev. M. Arthur Workman of Port Washington, New York; Arnet L. Workman of Whitesville, W.Va.; William J. Workman of Pine Knob, W.Va., and Homer Workman of Charleston, W.Va.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Ella Harless of Montcoal, W.Va., Mrs. Margie Miller of Pine Knob, W.Va.; Mrs. Opha Bone of Pine Knob, W.Va. and Mrs. Ina Kyle of Charleston, W.Va.; 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, February 9, 1951 at 1:00 p.m. at the home at Pine Knob, W.Va. Additional services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Rebecca Gospel Church, Rock Creek, W.Va.

Clergyman officiating was the Rev. Emory McGraw. Singers were the Rebecca Chapel Church Choir.

Interment was made in the Miller Cemetary, Rock Creek, W.Va.
