Clarence Cline, 83, of Wayne Rt. 2, died Wednesday, March 30, 1983, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, by Elder Frank Meddings, and Elder Doyle Thomas. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetary, Wayne Rt.2. He was born March 10,1900, in McDowell County, a son of the late Peter and Matilda Mounts Cline. He was also preeceded in death by one son, Ted Franklin Cline. He was a retired employee of Kerr Glass co. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Ross Cline, seven daughters; Mrs. Don ( Lucille) Eagleston, of Ypsilanti, Mich.,Miss Mildred Cline of Wayne, Mrs. John (Patsy) Lucas of Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Richard (Emma Gay) Bank of West Covina, Calif., Mrs. Bob (Geraldine) Daly, of Springfield, Va., Mrs. Craig (Eva) Quackenbush of Barrington Hills, Ill., and Mrs. Claude (Zella) Adkins of Ashland, Ky.; and five sons, Hubert Cline, Willis Cline, and Darrell Cline, all of Wayne. Ronnie Cline of Burton Ohio, and Clarence Ray Cline, stationed with the U.S. Navy in Honolulu. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Morris Funeral Home.
