ERICKSON General: Located obituary for John Erickson, Edward's son. John actually went by the name of Fred, and died in Vallejo, CA in 1936. According to his obituary he was survived by the following people: Brother; Edward Erickson of Canada, Sister; Mrs. Alice Sargent of ND., Aunt; Mrs. Anna M. Malcolm, Uncle; John Erickson, and Cousin; Mrs. Bessie Nisson. In 1941 when Anna Erickson Malcolm died,( Edward's sister), her survivors listed: brother John Erickson of MN., Mrs. Alice Sergeant, and Mrs. Bessie Nisson, nieces, both of Vallejo. In the Calif. Death Indexes there is an Alice Sargent, age 74, who died in 1976. Was born in Minnesota and was born April 24, 1904. As for the brother Edward who was listed as living in Canada. Unable to determine what became of him. I was unaware that Edward Erickson and his wife Emma Pearson had more children after the 1900 Federal Census.
