The Will of Catherine Mountney proved 1885

This is the last Will and Testament of Catherine Mountney of Elton in the
County of Derby.

I direct that all  just debts & personal and testamentary expenses be paid &
satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as is convenient after
my decease.
Then I devise to my sister Emily Mountney while she remains unmarried, all
my estate & effects both real and personal, whatsoever & wherever and of
what nature occur
If my sister Emily Mountney marries I will and direct that the sum of £8 be
paid to each of my brothers John, Richard, Large, William & George & that
the sum of £10 be paid to my sister Sarah Walker & also that the sum of £20
be paid to my sister Sarah Walker & also that the sum of £20 be paid to my
sister Hannah Nuttall.

The remainder of my estate real and personal I give to my sister Emily
Mountney.
I hereby appoint my brother John Executor & my sister Emily Executrix of
this my will.
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this 14th. Day of June one
thousand eight hundred & eighty four--------------Catherine

Signed by the said Catherine Mountney in the presence of us present at the
same time, who in her presence & the presence of each other, attest &
subscribe our names as witnesses thereto.

Proved at Derby the 21st day of January 1885 by the oaths of John Mountney
the brother and Emily Mountney. Spinster the sister.
The Executors to whom
administration was granted
The Testator Catherine Mountney was late of Elton in the County of Derby,
Spinster and died on the 2nd day of October 1884 at Elton aforesaid

Gross value of personal estate £89. 15. 6d.In person.
