SARAH A. GRANDEY CONVERSE DIARIES
1891 and 1899

Katherine L. Lynn of CA sent me two old diaries of Sarah's. Katherine gave me the following information: "Sarah resided in Panton, Vermont when these diaries were written. She married Jefferson Converse and was the daughter of Jesse & Lucretia Grandey. Sarah was born 21 March 1818. Jefferson & Sarah Converse had sons, John Rollin, Juba & Jesse. Juba had a son Rollin who married Alice Stanton and they had one son, Roy. My records (Seiverts) show Minnie married Jesse Converse who was Sarah Grandey Converses' son. Sadie was their daughter. Sarah Converse wrote this diary. Her husband Jefferson Converse had already died and she evidently lived with her son Juba Converse in Panton, Vermont or what is known as Jersey St. leading out from and south of Panton Corner."
The following information re this family was posted on the Rootsweb Converse mailing list by Farns10th@aol.com: (The link to this genealogy did not work, but one can google it.)
