This land is located near Prospect Plains and Cranbury, Middlesex county, new jersey, and is now owned and occupied by John Dey a descendant of Wm. Dey of 1718 on 21-Dec-1725.

he names wife Anne, sons John, David, William, James, Vinson, and Joseph, and daughters Anne and Katherine.

"He devises to his eldest son John, the just sum of five pounds at 8 S. Per ounce to David the just sum of fifty pounds at 8S. Per ounce. To his sons
William, James,Vinson, and Joseph, and daughters Anne and Katherine allt (sic) the remainder of the money arising from the sale of my estate to be
equally divided amongst them, their heirs, ect..The land was encumbered, the interest on the debt was to be paid by his wife, and to whom, he leaves
the use during her life. Also devises to her during life the personalty after payment of debts except therefrom the debt upon the plantation. After the death of his wife, and sale of the property, proceeds to be divided as above set forth. "

"They shall be at liberty to plant tobacco and maize on the express condition that every two years they shall clear new pieces of land...furthermore, Pieter Andriesz and Lournes Duyts bind and pledge their persons and properties fo the payment of what Mr. Bronck has desbersed for them oon board the ship De Brant van Troyen, 120 guilders, 16 stivers, of which Pieter Andreiessen must pay fl. 81,4 and Lournes Duyts fl. 49.12. Done at Fort Amsterdam on 21-Jul-1639 at Fort Amsterdam, New York. He was sentanced by the Court at Harlem, Stuyvesant for selling his wife, Ytie Jansen, and forcing her to live in adultery with another man, and for lifing himself in adultery, he was to have a rope tied around his neck and to be severely flogged had have his right ear cut off, and to be banished for fifty years, He went across the Hudson River to Bergen (now Jersey City) where he died. on 25-Nov-1658.

      Walker Northrup was born on 24-Mar-1817. He was the son of Enos Northrup and Clarine Nangs Sperry. Walker married Jane Kingsley, daughter of Oren Kingsley Jr. and Margaret Buchanan, circa 1833. Walker Northrup died on 9-Jan-1892 at age 74. Walker was buried after 9-Jan-1892 at Cherry Hill Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Warren County, Pennsylvania.
