his will was recorded, Oct 22, 1764 in which he named his wife, Geesje Kip, daughter of Cornelis Brinckerhoff, and leaves her £500; and gives £100 to Rynier Bordan to be divided by him between himself and his sisters' and brothers' children. He give to brothers: Hendrick, Peter and Isaac, and to the children of his deceased sisters, namely: Annatje Van Voorhees, Catherine Ter Hune and Elizabeth Brinckerhoff, each stock and equal sixth part of the remainder of his estate. He requests that his slave Minkck shall be supported out of his estate, if unable to maintain himself, and that his two negro women, Phllis and Hess, shall each have the privilege of choosing a master to their liking when sold after his decease.

His Executors were Hendrick Kip, Peter's son and Claes D. Romeyn, both of Hackensack.
