On 4-May-1762 SARAH THORN is appointed guardian to JOHN THORN and FRANCES CARTER ,Orphans, who with WILLIAM ELLZEY Gent.(attorney) and RICHARD CARTER (son) entered into and executed Bond for her faithful performance.
There is no evidence of SARAH being SARAH DENTON. DENTON has been added by some researchers as her surname. There are over 300 postings of WILLAM THORN/THORNE'S wife being SARAH DENTON. This is NOT this SARAH - wife of WILLIAM THORN in Prince William Co Va . There are other William Thorn/Thorne in New York and New England that may have had a wife named SARAH DENTON. At this point we only know of Sarah by her married names of MUSE-CARTER-THORN-WILSON . Some have Jackson as a possibility for her maiden name. There was a Jackson family in the area and this could be a possibility but as of yet no real evidence of this.

Malinda Maddon Reno

F, b. circa 1720, d. after 18 Feb 1763
Malinda Maddon Reno was born circa 1720 at Prince William County, Virgina. Malinda married John O'Rear, son of John O'Rea and Mary Peck, circa 1742 at Virgina. Malinda Maddon Reno died after 18-Feb-1763 at Virgina.
May have been a Madden by birth and Renoe by a first marriage. Her parents may have been John Madden and Polly Thorne. However, according to E. C. O'Rear, her father was Francis Rennoe. That Elizabeth Bayliss (wife of Francis Reno) was the mother of Malinda [Mahala] Maddon Renoe is purely conjecture. E. C. O'Rear II has the family of Francis Reno with wife, (--?--) Bayliss and showing 9 children including one "Millie (Malinda?)". However, John Orear (her son-in-law) is listed as the administrator for Elizabeth Reno, Dec'd. on 7 May 1764 in the Prince William County Bond Book (1753-1782) with William Whitledge providing the bond.

She was also known as Malinda Maddon Renoe. She was also known as Mahala Reno. She was also known as Malinda Maddon Rennoe.
