     He During the Revolutionary War he was a Private in the Middlesex Militia circa 1777. In his will dated May 13, 1807, John Covenhoven of West Windsor Township, Middlesex Count, divided the residue of both his real and personal property between his son and daughter, equally. The executors were his son William Covenhoven and his son-in-law William Tindall, and it was witnessed by Archibald Campbell, Thomas Groom, and Anna Ridgeway.
