Mrs. Esther Barkuloo, widow of the late Rev. William Barkuloo, member fo the Minnesota Conference for thirty-eight years, died at the hiome of her daughter in St. Paul on November 9. She was ninety years old and had been ill for nearly two years.
Mrs. Barkuloo was born in Ohio in 1845, married in 1869. Brother Barkuloo died in 1917. Funeral services were held at the Hamline Church in St. Paul, where she had transferred her membership. The following ministers took part in the service: Dr. Frank Doran, Dr. John Taylor. Dr. W. H. Porter, and Dr. Paul Lewis.

MRS. ESTHER BARKULOO FUNERAL CONDUCTED
Funeral services for Mrs. Esther A. Barkuloo, 90 years old, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mr.s J. J. Birkebak, 954 Bayless avenue, were held at the Hamline Methodist church at 2 P. M. yesterday. Burial was at Roselawn cemetary.
Mrs. Barkuloo who was the widow of Rev. W. H. barkuloo, was born in Mansfield Ohio, August 9, 1845, and came to Minnesota in 1869 and for forty years traveled with her husband in church work throughout the state. for the past 30 years she has been a resident of St. Paul.
She had been active until a few years ago in the work of the Hamline Methodist Episcopal church and also was interested in the activities of the city, state, and Federal governments.
She is survived by her daughter and two sons, Paul A. of Minneapolis and William C. of San Jose, Calif.

"ESTHER BARKULOO
Esther Barkuloo went to her eternal home Saturday, November 9, 1935, from the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. J. Birkebac, 954 Bayless Ave., St. Paul, Minn.
Mrs/ Barkuloo was born in MAnsfield, Ohio, on August 9, 1845, and had thus reached the advanced age of four score and ten years. She was married to Rev. Willaim Barkuloo on Sept. , 1869, and for thirty-eight years with her husband gave effective service in the Minnesota conference. In the words of Dr. Frank Doran, who took part in the funeral services, 'For thirty-eight years in home and community Esther Barkuloo adorned and beautified the Gospel her husband earnestly and effectively preached.' She was a rare spirit and sweetened personality everywhere she went. Rev. Willaim Barkuloo, her husband, passed to the beyond in 1917, and in the year 1928, Mrs. Barkuloo went to live with her daughter where she was tenderly and devotedly cared for.
The funeral service was conducted from the Hamline Methodist Episcopla Church, St. Paul, Minn., November 11, 1935, with the following ministers taking part: Drs. Frank Doran, John Taylor, W. H. Porter, and Paul E. Lewis, pastor of Hamline church. Internment was made at the Roselawn cemetery, St. Paul, Minn.
