David W. Wilcox, 68, of 1220 119th Place, died March 24.
Mr. Wilcox was born Dec. 13, 1900 in West Branch, Michigan and had lived in Everett for 17 years. He had been employed by the Boeing Co. until his retirement Jan. 1, 1966. He was a member of the Pilchuck Trailer Club.
He leaves his wife, Ina, of the home, three sons; Wendell of Downey, California, David Gordon of Portland, Oregon and Darrell of Seattle; two daughters, Mrs. Colleen Gearhart of Everett and Mrs. Ruth Connelly in New Jersey; a brother, Harding of Detroit, Michigan; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Slacks of Tucson, Arizona, Mrs. Hazel Bennett of West Branch, Michigan and Mrs. Gertrude Wickes of West Branch, Michigan and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Purdy and Walters Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Cypress Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Washington State Heart Association, Snohomish County Chapter, 930 Colby Ave., Everett. Honorary pallbearers will be Walt Johnson, Frank Baird, Glen Wilson and Ray Hadley. Active pallbearers will be Harold Gellerson, Earl Ketchum, Mike Doph, Oswald Dale, Calvin Taylor and Roy Mickelberry.
He was buried at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Everett, Snohomish County, Washington.
