John Ten Eyck's Co., and also in Capt. Peter D. Vroom's Co., Second Batallion, Somerset Co. Militia. Letters of administration on his estate were taken out Apr. 3, 1801, by his widow and John D. Sutphen, his personal estate being inventoried at œ3,984.7.8. Mrs. Van Doren was related to the well-known Cornelius Vanderbilt, and frequently visited him.
