In 1928, Bob Schenck and Howard Cahill founded the Valley Food Company which manufactured Blossom potato chips.

Soon after, they began a distributor relationship with Kraft Foods, and the business expanded into the sale of retail food items, becoming the Schenck Cheese Company. We distributed within a 30-mile radius throughout the 1930s and 1940s.
