Paul Gerald Rounds, 85, of Gays Mills, and formerly of Boscobel, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2003 at the Sannes Skogdalen Nursing Home, Soldiers Grove. He was born in Grant County, rural Boscobel, Feb. 26, 1918, the son of Otto and Myrtle (Champion) Rounds. He farmed in that area until moving to Boscobel and later to Gays Mills. He spent the rest of his years helping friends on their farms and with their gardens. Paul had a passion for new trucks and enjoyed many during his retirement. He is survived a niece, Julie Fleming of Fox Lake, a nephew, Dale (Dianne) Voss of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; by four great nieces, five great-great nephews, and one great-great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Thelma Voss. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003 at the Dommersnaes Bertram Family Funeral Home, Gays Mills. Burial will follow in the Boscobel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services.

He was buried at Boscobel Cemetery, Boscobel, Grant County, Wisconsin.
