..[ed note: this is the family of gf Bryan Connolly & gf Joseph Connolly note that Joseph who was born in 1880 is one month old .. this family would live at 93-5 Elm Street in Portland, Maine. For historical purpose, the word teamster as an occupation, meant the driver of a team of draft animals usually horses. This coordinates with City Directory listings of Bryan Connolly, who later did the same for the City of Portland. bryan is Ireland born ... possibly a son of an earlier teamster named Bernard Connolly. Any relation to Cornelius Connolly is unknown. McGowans are here in the same census. Terrence is believed Winnifred's father; she is also Ireland born; and may have emigrated as Bryan allegedly did, as a child with family.
