He is born in 1857, then a 'businessman or working in an office as other times this function is as a timekeeper. Mary A Scott is born in 1859,of two Maine born parts. They have been married since 1877-8 (22 years or marriage); and two children of four have died . .they are older daughters Carrie & Lizzie Scott, buried at Evergreen Cemetery. 'Nana' is the 14 year old Sarah E. Scott, in school ... and older sister Aice M. (Mary Alice also) is a dressmaker. [Sarah would at age 20 in 1906, marry an electrical engineer named Joseph A. Connolly, who kept offices at 228 Cumberland Ave., Portland, Maine .. He became a paper company plant/sales manager later. Their son Owen F. Connolly married Dorothy L. McCormack ... one of Owen & Doroth's sons is Scott M Connolly - this webmaster.]

Joseph A. Connolly, then a RR Clerk (likely Boston & Maine) would later join his younger brother Edmund as a specilaist in the new electricity -- and would marry Sarah E. Scott in the Scott Family above in 1906. (webmaster's grandparents - paternal). He is listed in the 1880 US Census as just one month old - so his birth year would actually be 1880 . though here he is listed as 19 (ie birthday pending)
An assumption is made that this isthe same Bryan Connolly family of the 1880 census. Great Aunt Theresa is as before born in Massachusetts in 1874. G-GP's Connolly have been married 31 years ... 7 of ten children have survived. G-GF Connolly entered the USA t immigrate in 1860 (although a Bernard Connolly is in the 1859 census as a teamster/laborer) .. and GGM Winifred Connolly-McGowan entered in 1864. GGF Bernard 'Bryan' Connolly is 72 years old 15 years older than Winifred.
Sarah 'Sadie' Connolly, oldest daughter, who married Cornelius Coleman before the census is no longer in the household. [g-gm of Steve Coleman].
