Note: Many of these farmersand their families are in the 1841 census. One Donald McCormack has a son in 1841 which could be Michael McCormack father of Daniel F. McCormack ... and also a Michael McCormack who has by the 1841 census 4 sons. My GGF Daniel F. McCormack was PEI born in 1846 -- his father is either Michael McCormack married to Catherine McPhee by Donald McCormack & Sarah MacDonald ... or Michael McCormack, by another Donald McCormack - not the son of Angus but a partner in the Launching area farm exploitation married to Ann McMullen. In both cases of Angus & Dugald; and the appropriate Donald ... those McCormacks owned their land in fee simple. Inability to buy land was an emigration consideration of my GGF.
