A prior note above had confiring information .. but the source could not be remembered .. the [Anne} may have been incorrect .. as Alice is a possibility for the [A] ... and she was widowed 1850 and earlier married to a Mr Cummings. Henry M Scott b 1827-Portland, Maine .. m Jan 5, 1851 A[Anne] Pingram [1850 w. Cummings] Rev JS Eaton
- An earlier reference of Henry Scott married to Anne Pingram has been withdrawn as inaccurate, and replaced with the Scott-Marriner marriage record which is correct. [Source for former had been family member who alleged from a Maine Marriages Book which could never be confirmed; nor were Pingrams ever found in the Maine census. Some family records simply reference a Henry & Mary Scott. They are parents of Charles Henry Scott, GGF].
