am searching ancestors of Henry Scott, 1701-? of Tolland, Ct. Have you researched more since this posting?
Henry had son John 1728-1795 m. Mary Johnson 1733-1812.
John and Mary are listed as having two sons on the same day, Oct. 28 names Jonathan and Jonas....are they same person or twins?
Jonathan, 1773-1835 m. Sophie Lathe, 1782-1855, moved to Vermont, had a son,
Charles Walter Scott 1815-1890 m. Lucy Sophia Kellum 1822-1855.They are buried in Johnson, Vt.
They had sons Lucian, Charles W. jr, Julian and my grandfather
Henry Percy Scott 1852-1912 m. Ella Minerva Blakeslee, 1854-1938, buried in Kansas City, Mo.
My father, Harley Judd Scott, 1898-1951, also of Kansas City. Would appreciate any help, thank you.

Hello Scott researchers!
I saw your postings on Genforum concerning Henry Scott and decided to send an e-mail to all of you who posted replies in the thread.
I, too, am descended from this Henry Scott. My info indicates that he was married to Mary /?/ and that they had the following children:
Mary (? - 4/11/1741, Willington, CT)
Joseph (8/18/1741, Willington - 10/21/1819, Franklin, CT), married Abigail Worden
John (8/21/1728, Canterbury, CT - 2/3/1795, Willington, CT), married Mary Johnson
John Scott and Mary Johnson (my 5Xgreat-grandparents) had the following:
Sarah (11/11/1754, Willington - ?)
John (8/30/1759, Willington - ?), married Margery Fiske.
Joseph (6/14/1763, Willington - 8/4/1841, Willington), married Sarah Merick.
Luther (6/22/1765, Willington - 2/11/1824, Greensboro, VT), married Esther Whitney.
Samuel (2/12/1767, Willington - ?), married Lucy Whitney.
James (4/2/1771, Willington - ?)
Zelotus (2/5/1776, Willington - 4/14/1857, ?),
married Betsey Chase Bailey.
I am descended through Luther and Esther, who had 7 children. I've got lots of info on further descendants. The family spent a few generations in Vermont, and there are some 'cousins' still there today.
Do you have any further info on the original Henry Scott? Do you know where he came from, or who his parents were? Do you have any more info on any of his kids (more than what I've listed above)? Also, if you would like, I can send you a GEDCOM for this family. Please let me know if that would do you any good. If YOU have a GEDCOM of this family, I would be interested in seeing what you have!
