The US Census 1930 is available for on line viewing at Ancestry.com. Many living in this family are in it. Go to Ancestry.com, click search, US Federal Census, choose 1930, then choose by state county & town. Some ED`s (enumerative districts etc) to help find some of my relations:
Massachusetts-Middlesex-Lexington District 255 Image 30 ... 110 Bedford Street April 15, 1930 -- the Viano Family is living in the home my paternal grandparents would rent after leaving Malden, later in 1930. Massachusetts Middlesex Lexington District 256, Image 21 ... 35 N. Hancock Street, off Bedford St, the family of Grandfather Charles A. McCormack with Grandmother Anne, Aunt Mary & my mother Dorothy. (Enumerator District 9-256 Sheet 11 A) Massachusetts, Middlesex, Malden, District 263, Image 18 ... 22 Gould Avenue where my paternal grandfather Joseph A. Connolly owned his home in the 1920 US Census, is not reported .. he had sold or lost to post 1929 foreclosure. Am still researching his 1930 April residence--- maybe Main Street 200 block, Malden where his sister in law had lived .. also Cedar & Chestnut. Massachusetts Essex Swampscott, Image 34 is the home of Great Uncle (maternal) James B. Keefe Jr. (Enumerators District 5-277, sheet 17 B) ..with his wife Violet Dandrow Keefe ..he is 49, a rubber salesman |
