Della May Scott is a relation of the Connolly-Scott family of Portland Maine ... and Della May is evidently a Christian name for any woman relating to the "de la" May or Mai families. This Della May Scott is a maiden lady who lived from 1885 to about 1956. She is the daughter of Eugene [Edward] Scott Great-Great-Uncle buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, Maine. He was a Portland Maine upholsterer, and the younger brother of Charles Henry Scott. Della is also a grand-daughter of Henry M. Scott & Mary Alice Pegram Scott. She is the first cousin of Sarah Elizabeth Scott & Mary Alice Scott; and this webmaster's first cousin twice removed. If the name 'May' turns out to be a surname .. it will be noted by research here.
