It most closley resembles a 7 extending below the line. I would not wish to hazard a guess as to the meaning of the mark, except to say if forced to choose between a Y or N, Y would be closest. [**] Eliza McKenzie's age was incorrectly entered in the male column, this was corrected by the person who makes the check of the enumeration book, but the subsequent totals were not corrected. [***] A note was made under Janet Marton's name - "Galls Wife" - by the enumeration book checker.
