Morris Lee Luff
Morris L. Luff, 72, Taswell, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at 1:18 a.m. at Veterans Administration Hospital in Louisville. A native of Grantsburg, born June 17, 1932, he was the son of the late Willard and Lela Benham Luff. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of English Wesleyan Church. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for KBP Coil Coasters in Denver, Colo. Survivors include his wife, Judy Lynn Luff; a son, Charles Luff of Jacksonville, N.C.; three daughters, Janet Brown and Cynthia Montez, both of Denver, and Sherri Bornschein of Fort Lupton, Colo.; a brother, Ferris Luff of Bedford; four sisters, Myrl Frazier of North Vernon, Marie Lytle of New Albany, Lucille Whitworth of English and Phillis Stepp of Corydon; 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 2, at English Wesleyan Church with burial in Mifflin Cemetery near Taswell. Officiant: The Rev. Philo Jones. Military rites: Performed by the English VFW Post 6160. Rev. Cedric P. Wilson, age 72 of Galena died Wednesday, August 07, 2002 at the Arbors of Delaware. He was born on Oct. 22, 1929 in Grantsburg, IN to the late Howerton and Ethel May (Belcher) Wilson. US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, moved to Delaware County 35 years ago from Sandusky, Ohio. He was aWesleyan minister for 45 years in the Wesleyan Greater Ohio District, most recently serving Victory Camp and Sunbury Wesleyan Church. Cedric also worked as a greeter for Meijers, Maxtown Rd., Westerville store. He enjoyed furniture refinishing, served as the contractor for the Mt. Orab and Napeoleon Wesleyan Churches, and aux. member of Sandusky Salvation Army. Survived by his wife of 47 years: M. Elizabeth (Orr), Son: Paul (Calie) Wilson of Jackson, MO, Grandson: Charles Paul II, Niece: Linda Brown, Nephews: Carl & Gary Wilson of English, IN. Proceeded in death by Brothers: Charles, Clifford Wilson. Memorial services will be held Saturday 2:00 at Dayspring Chapel, Chandler Ct, Westerville, Pastor Walter Jefferies officiating. Burial will be in Cape Girardeau, MO.
