Louisa Co., VA., Deed Book 2, pg 298, Apr. 24, 1759--Wm. Haris
wife, Hennerettah, of parish of Fredericksville, Louisa, deed to
Martin Baker of Hanover, for good causes, thereunto moving, part of
tract granted by patent March 24, 1725 unto William Harris, and by
said William given said Wm. Harris, his son, in will recorded in
Hanover Co., (prior to 1734). William Harris, Sr., of Hanover,
married Temperance Overton, whose tombstone, standing until a few
years ago, bore the following inscription : "Here lyes the body of
Temperance Harris, Deceased the 19 of Feb., 1710. W. H."
In Valentine Papers--William Harris and wife Henrietta, acknowledge
deed to Isaac Winston, Henrico Co., Va., May 7, 1764.

Henrietta, of Fredericksville Parish, Louisa Co., deed 882 a. to John
Louisa Co., Va., Deed Bk. 1, April 3, 1793--Wm. Harris and wife,
Henrietta of Fluvanna Co., Va., deed to Thos. Barret of Henrico Co.,
248 2/3 a. in Louisa.

Patience, Amelia Co., Va., and Wm. Harris, and wife, Elizabeth,
Hanover Co., deed tract to Cleavers Duke. Note: It seems possible
William Harris, Jr., married first Elizabeth and second (prior to
Louisa Co., Va., Deed Bk. G, pg. 422--Frederick Harris of Louisa,
appts. son, Richard Harris, his atty. in fact to convey his Ky. lands,
Mar. 4, 1794.
Louisa Co., Va., Deed Bk. A, pg. 367, 1750--One Edward Harris and
wife, Ann, deed Wm. Watkins part of patent granted Wm. Harris, decd.,
"father of said Edward" patent bearing date March 24, 1725.
Louisa Co., Va., Deed Bk. A, pg 256, 1746--David Harris deeds part of
above mentioned tract issued Wm. Harris, decd. to Isreal Snoad.
