Helen Smith

Who resided in Kiwanis Village, died at the age of 89 on Wednesday, June 12, 1991 at Durand Con­valescent Manor. Funeral services were held Satur­day, June 15, at Smith-Carter Chapel in Elsie, Michigan, with Pastor John Eckelbarger officiating the services. She was laid to rest  in  Ridge  Road Cemetery,  Oakley, Michigan.         

Helen was born in Brady Township, Michigan on June 14, 1901. Her parents were Frank and Blanch (Harris) Bowman. She resided most of her life in the Chapin area. On December 21, 1920 she married Archie Smith in Owosso. He died on March 16, 1968. Helen dedicated her life as a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Church of God, Owosso and was affiliated with the Golden Agers and the Salvation Army.       |

Helen Smith is survived by Claudia Cottrell a niece of Davison and many other nieces and nephews.
