Nellie Lou Combs was born August 30, 1940 in Kerens, Navarro, Texas to Homer Rawley Combs and Georgia Ann "Dolly"
Reynolds. She attended Waco Schools, one of which was West Jr. High. Mistake in obituary states her mother was Georgia Marie Reynolds.She married first Roger Carlton Stahr in September 1956 in Waco, McLennan, Texas. From this union was born
Stephen Carlton Stahr born in Waco, McLennan, Texas, Stephen "Stevie" died on 03 June 1966, at Airport Park while
swimming in Lake Waco. Cause of Death: Drowning at Lake Waco. This marriage ended in divorce.Next she married Jerry B. Owen and lived in Beaumont, Texas, then she married Ronald Green. No issue from either marriage. Both ended in divorce.
Nellie married Donald James "Robbie" Robinson in September 1963. He was born 14 June 1931 in Columbia Falls, MT. He was retired from the US Airforce. He had been married previously and had several children by that marriage. Nellie and Robbie lived in Itasca, Texas, Burleson, Texas. She and Robbie opened Nellie's Cafe and Recreation Center while in Itasca. She was also a Real Estate Agent. Back in Waco, she ran the Concession for Red Man Bingo Hall. Nellie loved gambling at Las Vegas and Louisana.
Child from this union is Tara Ann Robinson.
Robbie died 19 January 2001 in Waco, McLennan, Texas and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Nellie died March 14, 2005 in Waco, Texas. She is buried close to her parents and husband in Section "D" in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.
