This Portrait won a Blue Ribbon at the Annual Barkley Art Contest for the Laura Brown Renowski Award for Excellence for Portraits. Katie also received 1 of her 4 Scholarships for this Portrait.

Katie has gotten another scholarship for $100 Art History “Student excellence of the year for last year”. Temple College chose her color pencil as the student purchase of the year. They choose one every year  to hang in the hall of  “Student Purchase” Awards. They will pay her $175.00
