26. Rebecca³ SUTTON (Nathaniel², George¹) was born in Perquimans Precinct, Albermarle County, North Carolina August 8, 1676.⁽¹²⁴⁾

She married twice. She married Jacob PETERSON September 30, 1695 in Perquimans County, North Carolina.⁽¹²⁵⁾ Jacob died before August 1697. She married John BIRD August 24, 1697 in Perquimans County, North Carolina.⁽¹²⁶⁾

Rebecca SUTTON and John BIRD had the following children:

111 i. John⁴ BIRD was born in Perquimans County, North Carolina July 22, 1698.⁽¹²⁷⁾

112 ii. Edward BIRD was born in Perquimans County, North Carolina January 26, 1701/2.⁽¹²⁸⁾
