20. Richard³ SUTTON (William², George¹) was born in Piscataway, New Jersey July 18, 1676.⁽⁹¹⁾ Richard died 1732 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey at 55 years of age.

He married Sarah RUNYON January 25, 1702/3 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey.⁽⁹²⁾ Sarah was born October 30, 1686 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey.⁽⁹³⁾ Sarah was the daughter of Vincent RUNYON and Ann BOUCHTER.

The will of Richard Sutton, (Lib. B, p.385) yeoman of Piscataway, Middlesex County, dated 8 September 1722 and proved 28 February 1732 mentions son Nathan and other sons and daughters not named. Executors are wife Sarah, brother Daniel Sutton, and brother-in-law Peter Runyon.

Richard SUTTON and Sarah RUNYON had the following children:

86 i. Sarah⁴ SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey December 31, 1703.⁽⁹⁴⁾

87 ii. Anna SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey May 20, 1706.⁽⁹⁵⁾

88 iii. Nathan SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey August 16, 1708.⁽⁹⁶⁾ Nathan died 1733 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey at 24 years of age.

An inventory is recorded, on 25 may 1733, (Lib. B, p. 455) of the estate of Nathan Sutton, of Piscataway, Middlesex County, made by Daniel Sutton and Jeremiah Drake. On 22 August 1733, administration is granted to Richard Sutton.

89 iv. Richard SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey February 14, 1710/1.⁽⁹⁷⁾

90 v. Peter SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey May 2, 1713.⁽⁹⁸⁾ Peter died October 1740 in Metuchen, Middlesex County, New Jersey at 27 years of age. He married Sarah (--------).

The will of Peter Sutton of Metuchen, Middlesex County, weaver, (Lib. C, p. 359) dated 13 October 1740 and proved 1 November 1740, leaves real and personal estate to wife Sarah and brothers and sisters who are not named. Executors are wife Sarah, James Campble, and John Blackford.

91 vi. Catherine SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey January 24, 1715/6.⁽⁹⁹⁾

92 vii. Joshua SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey November 18, 1718.⁽¹⁰⁰⁾

94 ix. Amos SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey July 16, 1723.⁽¹⁰¹⁾

95 x. Jasper SUTTON was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey August 15, 1726.⁽¹⁰²⁾
