88. Asahel⁵ SHIPMAN (Samuel⁴, Benjamin³, William², Edward¹) was born in New Jersey February 19, 1749/0. Asahel died July 16, 1776 at 26 years of age.

He married Electa RIGGS November 23, 1772 at First Presbyterian Church in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey.⁽⁹⁰⁾ Electa was born June 14, 1753. Electa died March 30, 1834 at 80 years of age.

He was baptized March 25, 1750 at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey.⁽⁹¹⁾

Asahel SHIPMAN and Electa RIGGS had the following child:

131 i. Hannah⁶ SHIPMAN was born in New Jersey November 15, 1775. Hannah died March 7, 1869 at 93 years of age. She married William CARTER November 19, 1793 in New Jersey. William was born May 20, 1768. William died September 25, 1813 at 45 years of age.
