109. Joshua⁵ SHIPMAN (Samuel⁴, John Humphrey³, John², Edward¹) was born in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut April 16, 1767. Joshua died October 3, 1822 in Marietta, Washington County, Ohio at 55 years of age.

He married Sybil CHAPMAN January 17, 1787 at the Congregational Church in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut.⁽¹⁰⁴⁾ Sybil was born August 14, 1768. Sybil died 1828 at 59 years of age.

He was baptized May 24, 1767 at the Congregational Church in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut.⁽¹⁰⁵⁾

Joshua SHIPMAN and Sybil CHAPMAN had the following children:

+ 148 i. Charles⁶ SHIPMAN was born 1787.

149 ii. Harriet SHIPMAN was born in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut about April 1790. Harriet died June 16, 1790 in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut at less than one year of age.⁽¹⁰⁶⁾ She was baptized May 9, 1790 at the Congregational Church in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut.⁽¹⁰⁷⁾
