2. Elizabeth² SHIPMAN (Edward¹) was born in Saybrook, Connecticut May 1652.⁽⁶⁾ Elizabeth died 1683 in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut at 31 years of age.

She married John HOBSON December 3, 1672 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut.⁽⁷⁾ John died July 3, 1701 in Chester, New Haven County, Connecticut.

Elizabeth SHIPMAN and John HOBSON had the following child:

10 i. Elizabeth³ HOBSON was born in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut June 22, 1674. Elizabeth died January 27, 1751/2 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut at 77 years of age.
