34. Martha³ SHIPMAN (John², Edward¹) was born in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut April 1, 1699.⁽⁴⁶⁾ Martha died May 1769 at 70 years of age.

She married Samuel SHIPMAN May 14, 1724 in Connecticut. Samuel was born March 15, 1701/2. Samuel was the son of William SHIPMAN and Alice HAND. Samuel died February 6, 1764 at 61 years of age.

Samuel SHIPMAN and Martha SHIPMAN had the following children:

57 i. Martha⁴ SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut April 15, 1724. Martha died March 15, 1725/6 in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut at 1 year of age.

58 ii. Martha SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut September 27, 1726.

59 iii. Prudence SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut March 28, 1728.

60 iv. Samuel SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut September 16, 1731.

61 v. Temperance SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut September 22, 1734. She married Ebenezer HOUGHTON December 26,1754.

62 vi. Sybil SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut 1738. Sybil died May 20, 1797 in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts at 58 years of age.

63 vii. Alice SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut October 15, 1739. Alice died November 20, 1740 in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut at 1 year of age.

64 viii. Annes SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut October 15, 1739.

65 ix. Liddiah SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut March 8, 1741/2.

66 x. Cloe SHIPMAN was born in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut June 27, 1745. Cloe died October 20, 1748 in Hebron, Hartford County, Connecticut at 3 years of age.
