188. Mary (Mercy)⁴ MARTIN (Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹) was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey September 21, 1707.⁽²⁹⁹⁾ Mary died August 25, 1758 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey at 50 years of age.

She married John SUTTON circa 1724 in New Jersey. John was born September 19, 1701 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey.⁽³⁰⁰⁾ John was the son of John SUTTON and Elizabeth CONGER. John died 1761 in Somerset County, New Jersey at 59 years of age.

The will of John Sutton of Somerset County (Lib. G, p. 356), dated 25 August 1758 and proved 1761, names wife Mary; daughters Elizabeth, Anne, Lois, and Mary; sons Jeremiah, Abner, and Philip. Executors named are brother David Sutton, wife, and son Jeremiah.

Mary (Mercy) MARTIN and John SUTTON had the following children:
