He married Pauline Henrietta RIEKE December 24, 1936 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. Pauline was born December 9, 1915 in Van Wert, Van Wert County, Ohio. Pauline was the daughter of Herman Henry RIEKE and Myrtle Ellen MCMILLEN. Pauline died February 24, 1988 in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio at 72 years of age.
