He married Mercy SCHELLINGER October 18, 1721 in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York.⁽⁷⁶⁾ Mercy was born November 4, 1699 in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York. Mercy was the daughter of Jacob SCHELLINGER and Hannah (--------). Mercy died August 25, 1749 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut at 49 years of age. She was baptized June 16, 1700 in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York.

He was baptized April 5, 1702 in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York.⁽⁷⁷⁾

Samuel BAKER and Mercy SCHELLINGER had the following children:

67 ii. Hannah BAKER was born in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York circa 1724. She was baptized February 7, 1724/5 in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York.⁽⁷⁸⁾

68 iii. Esther BAKER was born in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York March 17, 1726/7.

69 iv. Samuel BAKER was born in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut December 24, 1729.

70 v. Jacob BAKER was born in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut February 11, 1731/2.

71 vi. Elizabeth BAKER was born in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut March 11, 1733/4.

72 vii. Jonathan BAKER was born in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut November 10, 1736.
