The will of Thomas Baker, yeoman,of the Borough of Elizabeth, Essex County, dated 25 December 1755 and proved 9 January 1756, mentions wife Martha, sons Thomas and Daniel; daughter Martha, wife of Jeremiah Mulford; and daughters Phebe, Mercy, and Patience; and grand daughter Elizabeth Brooks, daughter of Elizabeth Brooks, deceased. Son Daniel Baker and Timothy Whitehead, Esq. are named executors.
