A Memorial of an Indenture dated the
twenty first day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty indorsed on
the Indenture dated the eight day of February one thousand eight hundred and
fifty eight made between Andrew Christopher Palles of summer Hill in the city
of Dublin Solicitor of the first part Eleanor Palles otherwise Plunketts
wife of the said Andrew Christoper Palles of the second part James A Herrall of
Gurshawn Terrida Kingstown in the County of Dublin Esquire of the third part
Anne Plunkett of North Great Georges Street in the City of Dublin Widow and
Executrix of the last will and testament of Oliver Plunketttt formerly of North
Great Georges Street in the City of Dublin Esquire deceased and alos Execution
of the last will and Testament of Patrick Oliver Plunkett formerly of
Bosterstown in the county of Dublin Esquire deceased of the fourth part Olivia
Plunkett of 7 north Great Georges Street aforesaid Spinster heiress at law of
the said Oliver Plunkett deceased and alos of the said Patrick Oliver Plunkett
deceased of the fifth part Andrew Palles now residing in Philadelphia in the
United States of America Esquire Christopher Palles of Summer Hill aforesaid
Barrister at law James Ambrose Palles of Summer Hill aforesaid Esquire and
Marselle Mary Palles and Elizabeth Palles both of Summer Hill aforesaid
Spinster of the Sixth part and Thomas Henry Kenny of Ballyformer in the County
of Roscommon Esquire and Robert Mar Domroet of Great Denmark Street in said
city of Dublin Doctor of Medicine of the Seventh part The Indenture of which
this is a Memorial made between Andrew Palles of Northumberland Road in the
City of Dublin Esquire of the first part The Right Honorable Christoper Palles
Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer Division of the High Court of justice in
Ireland of Fitzwilliam Place in the City of Dublin of the second part Columbus
Drake of Great Churches Street in the said city and Marcella Mary Drake
otherwise Palles his wife of the third part and Robert Ferguson of Upper Mount
Street in the said City Esquire one of her Majestys Counsel of the fourth part
Whereby after reciting as therein It was witnessed that for the consideration
therein the said Robert Ferguson did grant unto the said Andrew Palles and his
heirs Exors admors and afsigns All that and those the lands of Dungummon
otherwise Mount Talles containg Forty Seven acres; one rood, and eleven perches
arable and pasture land and fifteen perches waste together with four acres and
three roods of bog therenits beloning Irish plantation measure held under lease
from William Lennix Napier to Andrew Palles bearing date Sixteenth February one
thousand Seven hundred and ninety four for three lives with esvenant for
perpetual renewal subject to the yearly rent of Seventeen pounds Eight
Shillings of the late currency of Ireland and to a pepper corn renewal fine on
the fall of each life and also all that and those the lands of Tydeehay
containing fifty six acres and five perches as thereabouts Irish plantation
measure with all the Bog therewith belonging and also All that and those the
lands of amor Drum hills which said Several townslands and hereditments are
situate in the Barony of Clonmahon and County of Cavan all that and those that
house or tenement marked number 35 Situate in New Row near
Thomas Thomas Street together with the yard and back houses
behind the Same and all that piece or plot of ground situate in John Street
containing in front to John Street fifty one feet be the same more or lefs And
also that house or tenement situate in New Row aforesaid marked number 36 with
the yard or backside behind the same and also all that dwelling house or
tenement situate on the North Side of Thomas Street together with the backyard
behind the said dwelling house and also a lot of ground in Browns Alley
together with the gateway under the said Dwellings house upon which said
premises the dwelling known as number 124 Thomas Street was afterwards built
together with the appurtenances to said Jerinnon belonging To Hold the same
unto the said Andrew Palles his heirs Exors admors and assigns as therein The
execution of said deed by the said Andrew Palle Right Honorable Christopher
Palles and Robert Ferguson is witnessed by John Weldon of North Great Georges
Street in the City of Dublin Solicitor the Execution of this memorial by the
said Robert Ferguson is witnessed by the said John Weldon and Nicholas Chs
Ferguson of 46 Upper Mount Street in said City Solicitor Apprentice and the
Execution of said deed by the said Columbus Drake and Marcella Mary Drake is
witnessed by William J Davidson of Upper Buckville Street in the City of Dublin
Solicitior R Ferguson (seal) signed and sealed by the said Robert Ferguson in
presence of John Weldon Solr: 37 Nr Gt Georges St Nichl Chs Ferguson 49 Lr
Mount St St Dublin. The above named John Weldon Maketh oath and Saith he saw
the deed of which the foregoing is a Memorial and the said Memorial
respectively duly executed by the above named Robert Ferguson party thereto
Saith the name John Weldon subscribed as a witness to said deed and Memorial is
this deponents proper name and handwriting John Weldon Sworn before me this the
3rd day of Febry 1881 at 37 Nt Gt Georges St in the City of Dublin Patrick
Maxwell a commissioner to administer oaths for the Supreme Court of Indenture
in Ireland
