A Memorial of an Indenture of Mortgage bearing date the sixth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seevnty two and made between James Berry of Sandville in the county of Cavan Esquire and Andrew Armstrong of Mullenagolman in said county of Cavan farmer therein after called the mortgagors of the first part William Berry of Berrymount in said county of Cavan farmer James Berry of Sandville in said county of Cavan Esquire John Berry of Rockville in said county of Cavan Isabella Moore and Cherry Moore both of 38 Hardwick street in the City of Dublin spinsters Andrew Armstrong of therein before described Robert Pringle and James Faris of Cliftown said county of Cavan farmers Alfred Griffith of Griffith Lodge Belturbet said county of cavan Gentleman James Berry of Westport in the county of Mayo Gentleman Arthur William Berry of Killeshandra in the county of Cavan Gentleman Margaret Morton of the Cottage Belturbet in said county of Cavan Widow Marcia Davis and Caroline Davis both of number 8 Herbert place in the City of Dublin spinsters therein after designated as the Beneficiaries of the second part James Benison of Sheverussell in the county of Cavan Esquire of the third part James William Ferguson of Cordelea in the county of Cavan Gentleman of the fourth part and The Reverend George Harrison Keade of Inoniskeen Glyde in the county of Monaghan Clerke of the fifth part whereby after reciting as therein is recited said Indenture of which this is a Memorial witnessed that in purenance of the agreement therein undersinged And in consideration of the sum of one thousand five hundred pounds paid as the therein mentioned James Berry and Andrew Armstrong by the direction and testified as therein | did grant bargain aell assign and lease and the said Beneficiaries resepctively according to their and evry of their estate interests and dares of and in the premises did thereof grant release assign and cofirm And the said James Benison and the said James William Ferguson respectively for the purpose of giving priority as therein before as to each of them was set forth and as further or otherwise did thereby grant release and confirm mats the said George harrison Reade his exors admors and assigns All that and those the sep poles of Tenregan which lying and being in the Manor of Drumlane Barony of Lower Loughtree and county of Cavan with all and singular the rights members and appurtenonites thereunto belonging and appertaining with all the estate interest right and benefit of renewal right of perpetuiting grant claim and demand whatsoever both at law and in equity of the said parties thereto of the first and second parts and each and every one of them To hold the said lands heredefaments and other the promises thereby expressed to be assured with their appurtenances unto the said Reverend George Harrison his exots admors and assignes thereforth for and during the full residue and remiander then yet to come and unexpired of the term of Twenty years granted by the therein mentioned renewal of the fourth day of March one thousand eight hundred and seventy two and for and during such further and other term by way of renewal as should from time to time for ever thereafter be granted of the original Indenture of Lease therein mentioned but such uf nevertheless to the provisee for redemption therein after expressed And said Deed contains other clauses covenants and agreements And the executuion thereof and of this Memorial by Andrew Armstrong John Berry Alfred Griffith Margaret Morton and Marcia Davis and Caroline Davis is witnessed by Moses Netterfield of Leinster Road Rathmines in the county of Dublin Gentleman And Edward McGauran of Mountjoy square in the City of Dublin Solicitor And the execution of said Deed by James Berry, William Berry Robert Pringle and James Faris is witnessed by said Moses Netterfield and the execution of this Memorial by same parties is witnessed by said Moses Netterfield and Alexander Pringle of Clifton in the county of cavan Gentleman And the execution of the Deed by James William Ferguson is witnessed by said Moses Netterfield And the execution of the Memorial by said James Wm Ferguson is witnessed by the said Moses Netterfield and ralph Montgomery of ballyconnell in the County of Cavan Post master the execution of said Deed by James Benison is witnessed by said Edward McGauran And the execution of said Deed and Memorial by Isabella Moore Cherry Moore and Arthur William Berry is witnessed by Said Edward McGauran and Patrick George Lynch of 4 Saint James Terrace Bohane Road in the county of Dublin Law Clerk James Berry -seal- Andrew Armstron -seal- William Berry -seal- James Berry/seal, John Berry/seal, Isabella Moore -seal, Cherry Moore - The within named Moses Netterfield maketh Oath and Saith that he is a subscribing witness to the Deed of which the within is a Memorial And to said that he saw said Deed and Memorial duly executed by Andrew Armstrong John Berry Alfred Griffith Margaret Morton and Marcia Davis and Caroline Davis in deponents presence and in presence of Edward McGauran the other subscribed witness to said executions That Deponent saw said Deed and Memorial duly executed by james Berry William Berry Robert Pringle and James Faris parties thereto in deponents presence and in Presence of Alexander Pringle the other subscribed witness to said Memorial as to said executions That deponent saw said deed and Memorial duly executed by James William Ferguson party thereto in deponents presence and in presence of Ralph Montgomery the other subscribed witness to said Memorial as to such execution. That the name Moses Netterfield subscribed as a witness to said Deed and Memorial is this deponents proper name and handwriting - Moses Netterfield - Sworn before me this 14th day of June one thousand eight hundred and seventy two at Imo Quay in the county of the City of Dublin before me a Dublin Commissioner to administer Oaths in Chancery - Thos F O'Connell Dublin Comr Chaney The within named Edward McGauran Maketh Oath and Saith that he is a subscribing witness to the Deed of which the within is a Memorial And also to said Memorial that he saw said Deed and Memorial duly executed by Isabella Moore and Cherry Moore and Arthur William Berry in deponents presence and in presence of Patrick G. Lynch, the other subscribed witness thereto. That the name E McGauran subscribed as a witness to said Deed and Memorial is Deponents proper name and handwriting - E. McGauran - Sworn before me this the 14th day of June 1872 at Innes Quay in the County of the City of Dublin before me a Dublin Commissioner to administer Oaths in the Chaneery Tho F O'Connel
