A Memorial of an Indenture made the 24th day
of May one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine between William Dwyer
Ferguson of 48 Mount Joy Square in the City of Dublin Esquire LLD of the first
part Emily Mary Tatlow of Delbrook Park Dundrum in the County of Dublin wife of
John Tissington Tatlow solicitor of the same place of the second part and the
said John Tissington Tatlow of the third part which is supplemental to an
Indenture bearing date the sixteenth day of january one thousand eight hundred
and eighty three and expressed to be made between John Copeland Jones of the
one part and the said John Tissington Tatlow of the other part and to an
Indenture bearing date the thirtieth day of March one thousand eight hundred
and eighty two and made between James Berry and Andrew Armstrong of the one
part and the Said John Copeland Jones of the other part and to an Indenture
bearing date the sixteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and eighty
three and made between the said John Copeland Jones of the one part and the
said John Tissington Tatlow of the other part whereby after Reciting as therein
It was witnessed that for the considerations therein said William Dwyer
Ferguson as mortgagee did thereby with the consent of said John Tissington
Tatlow convey and assign unto said Emily Mary Tatlow her executors
administrators and assigns all that the sum of one thousand seven hundred
pounds and seven hundred and fifty three pounds and Ten pence then due and
owing upon the security of Indenture of the thirtieth day of March one thousand
eight hundred and eighty two and the sixteenth of January one thousand eight
hundred and eight three respectively therein recited and all interest due and
to accrue due for the same To Hold the said premises unto the said Emily Mary
Tatlow her executors administrators and assigns absolutely but subject as to
the sum of seven hundred and fifty three pounds and ten pence to the equity of
redemption subsisting under said recited Indenture of sixteenth January one
thousand eight hundred and eighty three and It was also witnesses that for the
considerations therein sad William Dwyer Ferguson as mortagee did thereby grant
unto said Emily Mary Tatlow her heirs and assigns First all That and Those part
of the Lands of Balnagon Lower containing thirty acres three roods and fourteen
perches statute measure and part of the lands of Seymourstown White containg
one hundred and eighty two acres three roods and thirty five perches statute
measure both situate in the barony of Upper Kells and County of Meath and part
of the lands of Cloroney containing one hundred and sixteen acres two roods and
thirty one perches statute measure the lands of Tullyrvane comprising two parts
containing respectively one hundred and twenty five acres three roods and two
perches and ten acres and seventeen perches statute measure and the dewlling
houses garden and premises in the Town of Belturbet all in the Barony of Lower
Loughtee and County of Cavan and the lands of Assan and that part of the lands
of Drumfomina containing Two hundred and forty seven acres and twenty one
perches statute measure all in the Barony of Castlernhan and County of Cavan
Secondly All That and Those the lands of Berrymount Aghavvher Mullynagulm
Clifton Slievebracken Carrigan Cloncallow and Farfrin in the Barony of Lower
Loughtee and County of Cavan and the lands of Kildallan in the Baraony of
Tullyhunco and County Cavan and the lands of Artonagh Creeny Fengh Drumkerril
Drumquill Derryvackney Corglass Drummuillagh Deramfield Rinn Corcanadas
Drumanybeg Drumkeel Tercliffen Wahells Drumloher Tonyaraher Drumnvose
Kilnaglare Macknan Derrylerick part of Drumlane containg one hundred and forty
seven acres three roods and twenty five perches statute measure Mullaghmeen
Drumkeen Drumanyraken and Derrintunney in the Barony of Lower Loughtee and
County Cavan and Thirdly all the estate and interest of John Copeland Jones in
the part of the Corporation Lands adjoining Belturbet containing eight acres
two roods and Ten perches statute measue in the Barony of Lower Loughtee and
County of Cavan which formed lot seven in the printed Rental of the estate of
the said John Copeland Jones owner and Petitioner And fourthly all the estate
and interest of the said John Copeland Jones in the lands of Garfiny and Tully
in the said barony of Lower Loughtee and County of Cavan forming respectively
lots thirteen and sixteen in said printed Rental and fifthly the lands of
Drumcrow of which the aforesaid denomination of Naflifban as past) Drumellis
and Keenaghan all is said Lower Loughtee and County of cavan being the lands
expressed and granted by the said Indenture of mortgage of the sixteenth day of
January one thousand eight hundred and eighty three and sixthly all that and
those six poles of Tomregan comprsiing the several sub denominations known on
the ordnance survey of Ireland by the name of Berrymount Aghavoher
Thullynagolmmman Clifton Slievbrickan Carrygan Cloncallow Fatrin all situate
the Manor of Drumlane Barony of Lower Loughtee and County of Cavan being the
lands and premises expresses to be granted by said therein before recited
Indenture of mortgage of thirteenth March one thousand eight hundred and eighty
two To Hold said premises units and to the use of said Emily Mary Tatlow
her heirs and assigns subject to an equity of redemption as therein subsisting
and further subject as therin The execution of which said deed by the said
William Dwyer Ferguson is witnessed by Thomas M Hobson of 6 Portland Street
North Ciruclas Road Dublin law clerk and of this memorial is witnesses by Jane
Collins of 48 mount Joy Square in the City of Dublin parlour maid and the said
Thomas Hobson W D Ferguson seal signed and sealed by the said William Dwyer
Ferguson in presence of Jane Collins Thomas M Hobson The Before named Thomas M
Hobson maketh oath and saith he is a subscribing witness to the deed of which
the above writing is a memorial and also to said memorial and that he saw the
said deed and memorial duly executed by the said William Dwer Ferguson and that
the name Thomas M Hobson subscribed as a witness to said deed and memorial
respectively is this deponents proper name and hand writing saith he delivered
said deed and memorial respectively to John James Matson Esq assistant
Registrar at the Registry of Deeds office in the City of Dublin on the 19th day
of June 1889 at the hour of __ after 3 oclock in the after noon of the said day
